On July 11 annual festival “Kupalie” festival ("Alexandria Gathers Friends") was held.

35 chief executives and 16 diplomatic missions representatives accredited in the Republic of Belarus took part in “Kupalie” festival (“Alexandria Gathers Friends”) in agrotown Aleksandriya, Mogilev region.

In the framework of the visit the diplomats visited memorial complex “Buinichi field” and laid floral tributes at the chapel, built in honour of the soldiers-defenders of Mogilev. The delegation was familiarized with economic, tourist and cultural potential of Mogilev region during the business briefing attended by Chairman of the BelCCI V.E. Ulahovich, Chairman of Mogilev City Executive Committee V.M. Tsumarev and Deputy Chairman of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee R.B. Strakhar.

During “Kupalie” festival the diplomats visited “Trofimova Krinitsa” spring-well”, the school-museum of the first President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko and the Museum of History and Local Lore at State Educational Institution "Alexandria Secondary School of Shklov district", as well as met with Head of Presidential Administration I.P. Sergeyenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus I.V. Petrishenko, Chairman of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee L.K. Zayats.
