About the meeting of the Public Counseling Office

On August 22, 2019 UE “Mogilev branch of the BelCCI” hold a meeting of the Public Counseling Office of the Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation Unit (hereinafter referred to as the Public Counseling Office).

The purpose of the meeting of the Public Counseling Office is to increase the awareness of legal entities and individuals, individual entrepreneurs, non-profit and public organizations of the Republic of Belarus about the activities of the Eurasian Economic Commission (hereinafter - the EEC), in particular the Competition and Antimonopoly Regulation Unit, and to obtain advice on the procedure for submitting applications (data) on violation of the general rules of competition at the cross-border markets.

The event was attended by Deputy Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus A.M. Kartun, representatives of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Antimonopoly, Regulation and Trade for Mogilev, more than 30 representatives of leading enterprises and organizations of the city of Mogilev and Mogilev region.

Within the framework of the Public Counseling Office, ECE representatives made presentations on the following issues:

  • the composition and content of international treaties and regulatory legal acts that are part of the law of the Eurasian Economic Union, in the field of competition and antimonopoly regulation;
  • the requirements to applications (data) on violation of the general rules of competition at the cross-border markets of the Eurasian Economic Union;
  • the liability for violations of the general rules of competition at the cross-border markets of the Eurasian Economic Union.
  • after the meeting, the applicants had a personal counseling.
