Grand opening of a new children's playground took place in Mogilev at the World Children's Day on June 1.

The idea to build a children's town belonged to Mogilev branch of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The site is located opposite the building of the regional unitary enterprise of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry at 50 Lazarenko str. A children's play complex, outdoor furniture for recreation, small architectural forms, pedestrian paths are equipped on the territory.

Aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus – Inspector for the Mogilev region Leonid Martynyuk, Chairman of the BelCCI Vladimir Ulakhovich, Head of the Administration of the Leninsky District of Mogilev Aleksei Bogaichuk, Director General of Mogilev branch of the BelCCI Gennady Chorny took part in the grand opening of the children's playground.

Leonid Martynyuk expressed confidence that the playground will become decoration of the city and will find its continuation. "Over the past few years, the Mogilev region has grown significantly with social facilities, and has become more comfortable for life. And we will continue to develop the social sphere: with the participation of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the officials of the region and the city, this territory will still be decorated," said the aide to the President of the Republic of Belarus - inspector for the Mogilev region.

"There is such a thing as the social responsibility of business. In fact, this is our moral responsibility. In order to fully understand today's holiday, we need to do something for children, even if it is small, but real, something that will remain for them and give them pleasure," – said Vladimir Ulakhovich, Chairman of the BelCCI. - "Those, who grew up in cities, know what the yard is. Your yard can be considered as a small urban homeland. And I am sure that in the future there will be something new in this yard: after all, we have just started."

The participants of the grand event were small Mogilev residents and their parents. The children were able not only to ride on the new slides and swings, but also to taste a sweet treat from Mogilev Ice-Cream factory. All those present were congratulated by the pupils of the production center "Stupeni" of Mogilev Regional Philharmonic.
