Agricultural farms of Mogilev Oblast intend to develop cooperation with U.S. companies. These issues were discussed during a visit of the Mogilev Oblast delegation to the United States.
The Belarusian delegation (led by First Vice Governor of Mogilev Oblast Oleg Chikida) comprised heads of the oblast executive committees, leading agricultural companies, representatives of the Belarusian embassy in the United States. A number of bilateral documents on cooperation have been signed with U.S. partners during the visit that runs from 12 to 16 September.
The Belarusian delegation held talks with Lieutenant Governor of North Dakota Drew Wrigley, the North Dakota agricultural commissioner and representatives of the North Dakota Trade Office. The delegation also visited the University of North Dakota. Specialists shared inexperience in beef stock farming and meat processing. The Belarusian delegation also attended the international agricultural exhibition Big Iron Farm Show in Fargo.
A number of meetings were held in the U.S. State of Wisconsin. In particular, talks were held with representatives of business associations and companies engaged in the cattle breeding industry. CRI has organized a series of presentations.
On Friday, 16 September, the delegation visited Rastelli Foods Group (New Jersey) to study the U.S. fish farming, cattle breeding, meat processing and logistics practices.
