Business visit to Republic of Kazakhstan, Almaty
On 11-12 April 2017 Mogilev branch of BelCCI together with Almaty Chamber of Commerce and Investments with assistance from the Embassy organized a visit of Belarusian business community to Almaty. The delegation was comprised of OJSC ‘rechitsadrev”, OJSC “Yeast Plant”, JSC "Shchuchin Creamery”, OJSC ”Slutsk Meat-Processing Plant“ and Private Trade Unitary Enterprise ” Agroliprom Plus “.
On April 11 there was a visit to International center of the border cooperation "Horgos" at Kazakhstanian – Chineese border. The members of the delegation conducted negotiations with President of the Centre K. Dzhazin, Head of the Centre organization units on the issue for Belarusian products supply to Chineese concumers, living at Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. At the present time Kazakhstanian part of the Centre has distribution of tobacco products produced by Open Joint Stock Company “Grodno Tobacco Factory “Neman”, there is a work conducted for opening of shop “Belarusian House” for sales of food and cosmetics.
On April 12 Belarus- Kazakhstan business matchmaking session took place. The ceremony was opened with speeches of Director General of Almaty Chamber of Commerce and Investments M. Biyarov, Deputy Director General of Mogilev branch of BelCCI T. Alekseeva, Deputy Chairman of the Assembly of People of Kazakhstan L. Pitalenko, (native of Belarus), Head of the Embassy in Almaty S. Zhartun. Mogilev branch of BelCCi signed agreements with Almaty Chamber of Commerce and Investments and the Association of Trade and Indutrial Enterprises of Kazakhstan. В2В business matchmaking sesion took place with participation of 25 Kazakhstanian enterprises.
During their stay at Almaty the members of Belarusian delegation individually organized a number of meetings and negotiations with companies of Almaty, interested in development of cooperation with Belarus.
The visit resulted in signing of exports contract between JSC "Shchuchin Creamery” and LLC “Meta” for cheese dispatch to the amount of 3 mln. US dollars, agreements on delivery expansion to Kazakhstan of furniture and woodworks, butter and meat products. Kazakhstanian companies also expressed their interest in purchasing yeast, plant growth regulators and feeding amino acid based formula
