The priority topics of the first Council session were industrial cooperation and its development, as well as overcoming the barriers that still exist in foreign trade. The parties also discussed their joint work on import substitution.
The Council session ended with signing 13 contracts by Belarusian industrial enterprises to supply products to the Russian Federation on the total amount of $335 million. “It is definitely a great contribution to our joint field of cooperation. I think that this meeting format will work during the next forums of regions,” – admitted the BelCCI Chairman.
OJSC “Mogilevkhimvolokno” and OJSC “Minsk Tractor Works” signed the biggest contracts with the Russian partners.
