The business visit of Mogilev region delegation headed by the Chairman of Mogilev Regional Executive Committee Vladimir Domanevsky was organized to the state of Ceará, Brazil, and Texas, USA. The delegation also included representatives of Mogilev branch of Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and business companies.

The main purpose of the visit was the development of political, trade and economic relations between the countries of the region.

On March, 14-16  the delegation visited Fortaleza (Ceará, Brazil). During the visit, talks and official reception of the delegation by the Governor of Ceará Camilo Santana, talks with businessmen and leadership of Association of Trade and Federation of Industry (FIEC), visit the free economic zone (ZPE Ceará) took place.

During the visit the Agreement on cooperation between Mogilev Regional Executive Committee and the Government of the State of Ceará and the Agreement on cooperation between Mogilev branch of Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Association of Trade of Ceara were signed.

In the period from March, 16 - 19 the delegation visited Austin and Houston, USA.

In Austin the Belarusian delegation met with the Secretary of State Texas Carlos Cascos. C.Cascos was presented with information about the possibilities of business and investment cooperation with Mogilev region. During the meeting the areas of mutually beneficial cooperation between the region and the state were discussed. The Governor and the Secretary of State made an exchange of letters to confirm readiness to develop partnership in the areas of trade, education, technology and culture.

With the participation of the delegation, government officials and business leaders of the state the first meeting of Belarus-Texas Business Council was held to discuss events planned under the auspices of the Council.

During the visit the third Belarus-Houston Economic Forum took place. On the sidelines of forum bilateral meetings of members of the Belarusian delegation with their Texan partners were held to discuss the development of mutually beneficial cooperation.

During the meeting with the authorities of The Woodlands the agreement on establishment bilateral business partnership was signed between Bobruisk and The Woodlands.
